"Challenges are my favourite part about RAG as they allow you to push yourself outside of your comfort zone, achieving things you never thought you were capable of, and raising money for fantastic causes along the way!"

Kilimanjaro Trek

Kilimanjaro
Kilimanjaro- Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most impressive sights in Africa and climbing it is one of the all time great achievements. Rising majestically from the Savannah lands of northern Tanzania, Kilimanjaro soars to a chilling 5,895m high peak (well above the cloud line). It’s the highest mountain in Africa and the largest free-standing mountain in the world. The feeling you get as you climb Kilimanjaro and watch the sun rise over the vast African plains is truly an incredible experience. You'll be supporting the Meningitis Research Foundation, who help save lives across the UK and around the world, by funding research and vaccines and raising awareness of the dangers of Meningitis.

Uganda Gorilla Trek (East African Playgrounds)

Brazil
Take on the challenge of trekking and canoeing through the foothills of volcanoes and the lakes of Western Uganda. Experience the landscape, culture and wildlife of the country as you pass through a variety of different terrains, altitudes and beauties, staying on small islands at the heart of local communities along the way.  Spend an unforgettable day finding the last remaining silverback gorillas, feeling like a true explorer as you cut your way through the underbrush to find the gentle giants, before spending a breathtaking hour in their company, watching, observing, and walking alongside them. Finally transform an empty field into a safe and exciting playground for generations to enjoy, whilst running creative play sessions with the children: teaching them to make the most of their imagination in education and employment. Immerse yourself in a community, learn some local language, and make a huge impact with a small charity that will last for years and years to come.
